Big news on Atlas Shrugged movie part 2 and part 3

Our friend Michael Barger points out a good review of Atlas Shrugged Part 1 in the Daily Caller. But the real news is the revelation, for the first time, of when parts 2 and 3 will be released.
Parts 2 and 3 are set to debut on April 15, 2012 and April 15, 2013, respectively.

How appropriate! I love that this is the day that has been chosen. Time for a true revolution - including a TAX revolt - in this country. The movie and your book will certainly play a role in changing the way people think.

I saw this movie last night and loved it. I realize why it has received the bad press it has. It chronicles individual entrepreneurship and sheds a true to life light on the "grabby" nature of the greed from those who want the money that the private entrepreneur creates from his own ideas. It is the truth behind the b.s. that the left espouses so often.

Does this mean that all three parts of this movie are already filmed, and awaiting release, or is it still being filmed? And what happens if it does not generate enough sales? Does it just end before it ends?

I hope it's not like The golden compass. My other favorite three part movie that may die before it makes it to fruition. Why do the best works get shot down???

This is what the commercialization of space exploration has to look forward to!

It got such bad reviews because it was an insult to the awe-inspiring novel. It was made on a low budget in five weeks...that just can't do Ayn Rand justice. I think for that (and the horrible script) the movie deserved bad reviews. I was trying to convert my friends to the Libertarian side and just got laughed at :(

I liked the book and I thought the movie did it justice. My fiance was surprised that it was only the first part of a three part series and kept asking me who John Galt was. If she liked it then it couldn't be that bad, but she doesn't want to read the thousand page book. I liked the actors and I thought the scenery and dialogue were enough to keep me in suspense. But if that isn't enough then maybe movies with better special effects are what the audience is looking for.

I enjoyed the movie. I can't wait for part 2 and see how they produce
"Galt's Gulch". And then "the speech" will probably be in the last part. I have read the book several times because I miss things and I find I get what I didn't get before. It's an amazing book!

This mess is typical of why white western civilization is crashing and NO ONE can stop it.

I read the novel. It validated my life, and gave me the ability to find the words I need when I need them.
I had to waite for the DVD release because no theatre would run the movie even after several request efforts.
Thank you for making part one and even greater thanks for following thru with parts two and three!

The book is a classic and I was pleasntly surprised at how well done the first movie was done. My wifi who wasn't interested in the book was really into the movie and can't wait for the part two to be reaeased.
The reason it wasn't really financially sucsussful was that it goes against Hollywood and the press in ideology and makes one think about just what is happening tn the USA today.
